Kansa Facial Massage Tool | Ayurvedic Skincare Ritual for Glowing Skin
Incorporate a 5,000-year-old beauty ritual into your skincare routine
The Kansa Wand is an ancient facial massage tool from Ayurveda, used in India since the Bronze Age, long before the advent of the jade roller and gua sha.
Use it to:
- Relieve muscle tension
- Promote toxin elimination
- Reduce inflammation
- Stimulate marma points
- Oxygenate the skin
- Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Help balance skin pH
- Revitalize the complexion's natural radiance
Thanks to its compact size, the Marma Kansa Wand is ideal for massaging marma points on the face and body, both at home and on the go. Its ergonomic handle, with finger grooves, offers a comfortable grip, especially when used with your PAAVANI serum or body oil.
The Kansa
The Kansa is a traditional metal alloy composed of copper and tin in a 4 to 1 ratio. Known in the West as bronze, it is called Kansa in India.
This robust metal has been used for centuries to make cymbals, bells, and Tibetan gongs, earning it the name "bell metal" as well.
According to Ayurvedic tradition, Kansa is known for its harmonizing properties. It is believed to promote skin pH balance and contribute to the well-being of the skin, body, and mind.
Marma Points
Marma points are energetic points in the body that, according to Ayurveda, stimulate prana (life energy) to promote balance and well-being.
Physically, their massage helps to:
- Relax tense muscles
- Stimulate blood circulation
- Promote lymphatic circulation
- Support the body's natural functioning
Marma points are sometimes compared to acupuncture points in traditional Chinese medicine. Ayurveda lists over 108 of them, each with a specific function and massage technique.
Made from teak wood and Kansa by Kansa Organics.
Precaution: In case of irritation, discontinue use.
